MOTER Technologies and May Mobility join forces to advance autonomous vehicle insurance solutions

Together, May Mobility and MOTER will deepen the understanding and evaluation of autonomous vehicles, with a focus on insurance solutions.


ANN ARBOR, MICH. (December 13, 2023)—May Mobility, a leader in the development and deployment of autonomous vehicle technology, has announced a strategic partnership with MOTER Technologies, a leading provider of edge computing data science software for the automotive industry. This collaboration is set to advance the landscape of autonomous mobility and transportation through several key initiatives.

Together, May Mobility and MOTER will harness the extensive sensor data produced by May Mobility’s vehicles to deepen the understanding and evaluation of autonomous vehicles, with a focus on insurance solutions. By integrating MOTER Technologies’ cutting-edge data science platform into May Mobility’s vehicles, the companies aim to efficiently process real-time vehicle data to enhance risk analysis and operational insights.

The alliance will seek to develop next-generation, data-driven insurance solutions that reflect the high level of safe performance of these unique operations to support both May Mobility and its customers. In addition, the parties will aim to develop industry benchmarks for autonomous vehicle technology in public transit and other applications through the fusion of MOTER’s data analytical strengths and May Mobility’s cutting-edge technology and rich operating experience.
